Palmaa is a hotel deals subscription service that helps Canadian travellers find discounted rates on all-inclusive resorts across the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America. Our website is palmaa.ca. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use our website and services.
Information we collect

- Account information: your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Payment information: billing details are handled directly by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your card number.

- Social login data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
- Usage data: pages you visit, deals you click, email opens, and basic device and browser information.

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to operate Palmaa, including a payment processor for subscription billing, a hosting and database provider, an email delivery provider, and an analytics provider. We also offer optional sign-in through Google (see below). Each of these providers processes personal data on our behalf under contractual protections.
Google sign-in
When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier. We use this information only to create and authenticate your Palmaa account. We do not share Google user data with third parties, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it for any purpose other than providing and improving the Palmaa service. You can disconnect Google from your account at any time by contacting us.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers listed above, when required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for up to 24 months for legal and operational purposes. Billing records may be retained longer to meet tax law requirements. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and restricted database access. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, email us immediately at info@palmaa.ca.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or out-of-date information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
